About P.D. Yoko
Words
do matter. When used effectively, they have the potential to move people
to action, or paralyze them with fear. For this reason, words have been
a passion for P.D. Yoko since elementary school. It was her fourth grade
teacher who recognized her ability to convey a story with the emotion
and imagery far beyond her years. Her teacher advised Ms. Yoko's
parents, ‘much of what she is able to convey is purely intuitive and can
not be taught.’
With over twenty years of experience, P.D. Yoko utilizes her
intuitive writing and editing skills to assist individuals and companies
with their writing needs. Her abilities have earned her the reference
“quick study” by her clients, editors and publishers. Her expertise to
understand a company's methodology, product and services or to recognize
a publications’ target audience is a respected trait that her clients
value. Such publications as The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review,
Focus Magazine, The Tennessean, The Daily News Journal, and Sustainable
Land Development Today Magazine, just to name a few, have utilized
her journalism skills in producing articles that inform and educate, as
well as inspire and even amuse.
Ms. Yoko
also writes novellas, short stories, essays and some poetry published under
a pseudonym. Her work has appeared at several Writer's Conferences in
the United States. Many of her opinion editorials have been
presented in various news publications. She is also the
contributor to three blog sites.
When she isn’t writing, she
enjoys her family and their passion for hiking, golf, dogs, historic
architecture preservation and classic automobiles.
